So after about 24 hours of travelling I finally arrived in the incredible New York City last night (delerious and hungry but alive).
I was greeted in NY by a man urinating on the street, the subway stealing $2.75 off my metro card because I didn't push the turn style quick enough and a shoe box of a hotel room which was a tiny sauna.
But in saying all that I forgot how truly beautiful and amazing this city is.
After a bit of a break down due to 3 hours sleep and very little food I headed down to Grand Central Station (one touristy thing already done woo) for Shake Shack! And yes, it was even more incredible than I remember... mouth watering actually.
After an average sleep last night due to jet lag and sleeping in a sauna I got up super early and am now on the bus to my home sweet home Philly to see my beloved Flyers play in only a couple of hours time.
For now I am going to try and nap because my head feels like it might explode at any minute!
But be prepared for hockey spam tomorrow!
